Person Dies in Bicycle Crash on Silica Drive in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 16, 2022) — One person died in a bicycle accident on Silica Drive near Hesperia Road on Wednesday.
 
According to reports, the fatal bicycle crash happened around 12:48 a.m. For unknown reasons, a westbound driver in a Ford Explorer rear-ended a westbound bicyclist on Silica Drive. As a result, the bicyclist was thrown from the bike and landed on the road.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the cyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, no one inside the Ford Explorer reported any injuries.
