ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (February 23, 2022) — One person suffered unknown injuries in a stolen party bus crash near Pearblossom Highway and Small Road on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident first occurred around 12:35 p.m. As the driver of the party bus pulled over to pick up clients, a suspect stole the Top Dog Limo Bus since the driver left the keys in the ignition.
 
Subsequently, the 2018 black Ford bus departed San Diego and began moving at speeds of 80 miles per hour. Due to the nature of the chase, Los Angeles police abandoned the pursuit and left it to CHP officers.
 
Although, during the pursuit, the bus collided with a white four-door sedan, sending the vehicle 400 feet from the point of impact and crushing its rear end. Following the accident, police took the suspect into custody at gunpoint.
 
As far as the condition of the sedan driver goes, it remains unclear what type of injuries the victim sustained. At this time, officers have not identified the driver. However, per witnesses, the suspect was running into random businesses and taking fruit and mail.
