VICTORVILLE, CA (January 12, 2023) — One person reported injuries in a pedestrian accident on Palmdale Road near the 15 Freeway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened on January 11 around 12:38 p.m.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a male driver of a black Nissan Altima struck a pedestrian on Palmdale Road near the 15 Freeway. The victim suffered traumatic injuries and was taken to Victor Valley Global Medical Center before medics airlifted the patient to a trauma center.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
 
It’s unclear what led to the accident, but the CHP is investigating this case to identify the factors.
