SANTA CLARA, CA (March 23, 2021) — One person was injured in a pedestrian accident on Monroe Street near Bowers Avenue Monday morning.
 
According to police, the pedestrian crash happened around 8:20 a.m. Under unknown circumstances, a driver struck the pedestrian between Bowers Avenue and Francis Avenue.
 
At this time, officials have not confirmed the pedestrian’s condition. Also, whether the victim was in a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident remains unclear. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please call the Santa Clara Police Department.
