APPLE VALLEY, CA (November 29, 2021) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Kiowa Road near Sioux Road on Thanksgiving night.
 
According to Sheriff’s officials, the deadly accident happened at approximately 11:32 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a northbound gold Chevy Equinox struck the pedestrian who was walking in the northbound lane.
 
Subsequently, Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded and confirmed the victim dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet remained on-site and cooperated with police investigators.
