PALOMAR MOUNTAIN, CA (August 23, 2021) — One person died in a motorcycle-truck accident on Highway 79 near Aguanga Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal accident happened around 3:27 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a truck and a motorcycle collided near Aguanga and Oak Grove. Soon after, authorities responded and confirmed one fatality.
 
Due to the circumstances of the crash, authorities closed all lanes of the highway. At this time, authorities have not determined what drove the accident. However, those with information should reach out to the CHP.
