Person Killed in Temecula Motorcycle Crash near Jefferson Avenue

 
TEMECULA, CA (May 2, 2022) — One person died in a motorcycle accident near Jefferson Avenue and Calle Cortez on Saturday.
 
According to officials, the fatal motorcycle collision happened around 7:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a motorcyclist traveling behind an SUV collided with the back of the SUV.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and died shortly after.
 
Following the incident, deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station and paramedics arrived at the scene to assess what had happened. However, the leading cause of the crash remains unclear.
 
Therefore, an ongoing investigation should determine if DUI, speeding or other factors played a part in this crash.
