NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 18, 2021) — One person died in a car crash on Highway 170 near Highway 134, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 4:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown vehicle lost control and struck an embankment. Soon after, Los Angeles Fire Department officials arrived and tended to the victim, rushing at least one person to a hospital.
 
As a result of the crash, one person suffered fatal injuries. Although, reports did not confirm whether the person who died was the victim who was transported to a hospital.
 
At this time, deputies have not released information as to what drove the crash or how many cars were involved. However, anyone with more information should contact the authorities.
