THOUSAND OAKS, CA (January 10, 2022) — One person died in a car accident on Highway 101 at Conejo Grade, early Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 3:40 a.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in a sedan crashed in an unknown manner.
 
As a result, the vehicle caught on fire.
 
Soon after, CHP officers responded to the scene and found one person deceased in the sedan. That person’s name has not been released.
 
At this time, officers have not confirmed the ultimate circumstances and cause of the accident on Highway 101. However, anyone with more information should contact the authorities.
