Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Merced Pedestrian Accident on Ashby Road
MERCED, CA (May 13, 2021) – A pedestrian sustained injuries following a hit-and-run accident on Ashby Road, early Monday morning.
According to the Merced Police Department, the incident happened at about 1:13 a.m. Due to unknown circumstances, an unknown vehicle hit the man in the area of Ashby Road near Copper Avenue.
Emergency crews rushed the 35-year-old victim to a Modesto-area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. As per reports, the pedestrian remains in critical condition.
