Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash near Pico Boulevard Involves Sedan and Metro Bus

 
PICO-UNION, CA (May 10, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash near Pico Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, late Thursday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. on May 5. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a white compact car struck the pedestrian and took off.
 
While the pedestrian was lying on the roadway, a Metro bus may have also possibly struck them.
 
First responders trying saving the pedestrian, but the unidentified victim died at the scene.
 
The driver of the compact car was last seen heading southbound on Vermont Avenue. The bus driver remained on scene.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing and police are still on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
