Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Holt Avenue in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (July 13, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Holt Avenue and New York Drive in Pomona on Monday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:33 p.m. on July 11. According to the Pomona Police Department’s Traffic Services Bureau, the male pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking the victim, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
The pedestrian, a man between 30 to 40 years old, suffered severe injuries. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
