Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Accident on Mission Boulevard and Pedley Road
RIVERSIDE, CA (May 6, 2022) — A man died following a hit-and-run crash on Mission Boulevard on Thursday, May 5.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Mission Boulevard east of Pedley Road.
Responding deputies arrived at the area and found the victim in the roadway.
Sgt. Rafael Lopez said medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately available pending notification of next of kin.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
