Woman Sustains Injuries after Hit by Car During Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 135 in Orcutt

 
ORCUTT, CA (January 24, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 135 in Orcutt Wednesday evening on January 18.
 
The accident happened around 7:46 p.m. near Foster Road. According to the Santa Barbara County Fire officials, three vehicles collided on the highway in unclear circumstances. One of the cars then hit the female pedestrian.
 
Responding paramedics took the pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
No drivers involved required medical aid.
 
Firefighters remained on scene for more than an hour to clear the vehicles off the roadway.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
