54-Year-Old Woman Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Mission Bay Drive in Pacific Beach
PACIFIC BEACH, CA (March 4, 2022) – A 54-year-old woman sustained injuries following a hit-and-run collision on Mission Bay Drive, late Thursday evening.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident happened on March 3 at about 11:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a sedan drifted to the right. Then, the passenger mirror of the vehicle hit a pedestrian near Bluffside Avenue.
Emergency crews later transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of a broken arm.
As per reports, the driver of the sedan immediately fled the area.
Investigators described the suspect vehicle as an older, dark-colored sedan. Anyone with additional information should call SDPD.
