CHICO, CA (September 12, 2024) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle on Esplanade in Chico Wednesday on September 11.
 
The crash happened just between the First Avenue and West Sacramento Avenue. According to the Chico Police Department, the pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle hit them.
 
Paramedics arrived and took the pedestrian to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
It was unclear if the driver of the involved vehicle stopped after the crash.
