CARMICHAEL, CA (June 23, 2022) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Fair Oaks Boulevard at El Camino Avenue on Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run took place around 9:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in an unknown a make and model struck a man in the northbound lanes of Fair Oaks Boulevard
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the victim suffered severe injuries and died later at the scene.
 
At this time, investigators have no information on the driver involved. However, any witnesses with information on this hit-and-run should call the CHP officers.
