Fatal Tujunga Pedestrian Accident on West Foothill Boulevard near Marcus Avenue

TUJUNGA, CA (December 7, 2023) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on West Foothill Boulevard, Tuesday evening.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident happened on December 4, at about 7:20 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle hit a person near the intersection of West Foothill Boulevard and Marcus Avenue.
Emergency crews attempted to perform CPR on the pedestrian. However, the victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
The Los Angeles Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
