1 Person Injured in Pedestrian Crash near La Mesa Road in Victorville
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 17, 2024) — A pedestrian was hit and injured by a car near La Mesa Road and El Evado Road on September 15.
The pedestrian accident unfolded around 7:50 p.m. For an unknown reason, a northbound driver in a GMC pickup struck a pedestrian. Subsequently, the GMC driver immediately pulled over and waited for the authorities.
Soon after, Victorville City Fire arrived and called a helicopter to airlift the male pedestrian to Victor Valley Global Medical Center with serious injuries. From there, they airlifted him to an out-of-area trauma center.
After the accident, police interviewed the driver but did not say what caused the crash. If anyone has seen this accident and could help with the investigation, call local authorities.
