Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Westlake Avenue near Wilshire Boulevard
WESTLAKE, CA (December 13, 2024) — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Westlake Avenue near Wilshire Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run occurred on December 2 around 11:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of what authorities believed was a silver Nissan Sentra, around 2007 to 2012, was heading southbound in an alley when the car struck a pedestrian. Rather than stopping, the driver fled the scene.
Moments later, paramedics transported the injured man to a hospital where he died. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of his relatives.
