Hit-and-Run Crash near Senter Road in San Jose Leaves Pedestrian in Critical Condition

 
SAN JOSE, CA (January 10, 2022) – A pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash near Senter Road and Southside Drive in San Jose on Friday evening.
 
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on January 7. According to the San Jose Police Department, the incident involved two vehicles, at least one of the drivers fled the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said the victim had been stabilized but was in critical condition.
 
After the crash, crews closed the southbound traffic of Senter Road while they cleared the scene.
 
Police are still investigating the incident and on the lookout for the hit-and-run suspect.
