Brian Paschal Killed in Corning Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident

 
CORNING, CA (August 26, 2021) — 51-year-old Brian Keith Paschal of Corning died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Corning Road near the 5 Freeway Friday night, August 13.
 
According to the Corning Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 11:08 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in an unknown make and model struck the victim.
 
Paschal was pronounced dead by emergency medical personnel.
 
Instead of pulling over and helping the victim, the driver reportedly left the scene of the incident and the driver did not notify authorities of the accident.
 
At this time, the Corning police need witnesses’ help in identifying the driver and vehicle involved in this hit-and-run. If anyone has more information, please call the Corning Police Department at (530) 824-7000.
