According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened around 10:45 a.m. near Moonlight Beach.
Sheriff’s officials said a black Ford Fusion veered off the roadway, plowed into a transit station, and struck the victim. The sedan also hit a tree and lost a wheel.
