Rider Dies after Crash with SUV at Schulte Road and Joranollo Drive
TRACY, CA (May 18, 2021) – Paul Green was killed after his motorcycle collided with an SUV Friday afternoon in Tracy.
The accident happened around 3:43 p.m. on May 14, at the intersection of Schulte Road and Joranollo Drive, just across from Schulte Memorial Park cemetery. According to the Tracy Police Department, Green was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Schulte Road. At the same time, a Nissan SUV was traveling north on Joranollo Drive.
The SUV made a left turn to head west on Schulte Road when it collided with the motorcycle in the intersection. The motorcycle came to rest in the middle of the road while the SUV stopped near the sidewalk next to the cemetery.
As a result of the crash, Green suffered severe injuries and died at the scene.
Green was a 40-year-old Tracy resident, according to the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
