Paul Brown Dead in Willits Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Sherwood Road near Brooktrails Drive

 
WILLITS, CA (May 10, 2021) — Paul Brown died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sherwood Road near Brooktrails Drive on May 7.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 1:40 a.m. For reasons that require further investigation, a driver in a Hyundai Accent, heading westbound, veered into the eastbound lanes and struck 41-year-old Brown of Fort Bragg. Shortly after, the driver of the Hyundai fled the scene.
 
Unfortunately, Brown died in the crash. At this time, CHP hopes to identify the driver involved in this fatal hit-and-run. If anyone has additional information that can lead to the driver’s arrest, please contact the CHP Garberville area at (707) 923-2155.
