Head-On Accident on Bentley Road in Modesto Kills Passenger and Badly Injures Driver

MODESTO, CA (November 30, 2021) – A passenger was killed in a head-on accident on Bentley Road in Modesto on Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:55 p.m. on November 28 at Kemper Road. CHP officials said a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck carrying an adult male driver and at least a couple of young children, was heading north on Bentley. At the same time, a Toyota sedan was traveling south.
 
To go onto Kemper, the driver of the Toyota turned left into the path of the Silverado. The Silverado then struck the passenger side of the sedan head-on.
 
As a result, the male passenger in the front seat of the sedan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The female driver suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the occupants of the Silverado had minor injuries.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol is still investigating this fatal accident.
