Paola Pallares Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Millerton Road near Winchell Cove Road

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (July 30, 2021) — Paola Pallares died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Millerton Road near Winchell Cove Road Wednesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 10:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, 33-year-old Pallares was walking in the middle of the road. Subsequently, an oncoming vehicle struck her, and the driver left the scene.
 
At this time, officers need witnesses’ cooperation in identifying the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver. Police have no confirmation or details on why the Fresno woman was walking on the road in the first place. However, if anyone has more information on this fatal crash, please contact the CHP.
