Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Car on White Lane in Bakersfield

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 19, 2022)Pablo Erik Allier died in a pedestrian accident at White Lane and Hughes Lane in Bakersfield on Saturday evening.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. on April 16. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, Allier was walking outside of a crosswalk when a car struck him.

Responding units found the victim in the roadway suffering from major injuries. Emergency personnel rushed him to Kern Medical, where he later died.

Allier was a 43-year-old Bakersfield resident, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the crash. An investigation is underway.
