Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Skateboarding Accident on E Street in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (September 6, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries in a skateboarding accident on E Street on August 31.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 11:24 AM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was riding a skateboard at the time of the crash. At the same time, the Chula Vista Police Department said a white Mercedes was going about 35 to 40 mph at that time.
 
Due to unknown circumstances, the car hit the skateboarder, sending the victim’s body up and over the roof of the car. Subsequently, the white Mercedes sped off eastbound on E Street.
 
As a result, the skateboarder suffered serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported him to UC San Diego Medical Center, but had no update on his condition.
