Man Sustains Injuries in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 74 near Tenaja Truck Trail

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 3, 2021) – One person suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident on Highway 74 on January 21.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Tenaja Truck Trail around 12:55 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was traveling on the highway prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he plunged down an embankment. The victim called 911 himself after he fell about 20 feet below the highway, unable to move.
 
As a result, he was badly hurt in the incident. Firefighters hiked down to the motorcyclist and discovered he had a broken leg, as well as multiple other fractures. Crews airlifted him to a southwest county trauma center.
 
Officers closed both sides of the two-lane highway during the operation.
