California Department of Fish & Wildlife Vehicle Involved in Accident on Sage Road at Trifone Road in Riverside County
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (June 20, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Sage Road on June 17.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just south of the Tucalota Springs RV Park at Trifone Road around 4:20 PM.
Based on a report, the victim’s sedan collided with a California Department of Fish & Wildlife vehicle. Subsequently, the sedan ended up in a ditch, trapping the driver inside.
As a result, the sedan driver suffered major injuries in the incident. Riverside County Fire Department firefighters freed the victim before transporting him to a hospital by ambulance in serious but stable condition.
Also, the incident closed Sage Road because of the wreck.
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, no other details are available.
