2 Big Rigs Involved in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 37 in North Bay

 
NORTH BAY, CA (November 8, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a big rig accident on Highway 37 in North Bay on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. on November 5 in the eastbound lanes on the Mare Island Bridge, east of Highway 121. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved two big rigs, an SUV and another car.
 
Responding firefighters freed one person from the wreckage. An air ambulance then took the person to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment of serious injuries.
 
No additional information is available at this time. The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
