Bicyclist Suffers Serious Injuries after Struck by SUV on Yosemite Boulevard in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (August 31, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a bicycle accident on Yosemite Boulevard in Modesto on Monday morning, August 29.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. near Parry Avenue. According to the Modesto Police Department, an SUV was heading eastbound on Yosemite when the bicyclist entered the road from an unknown direction.
 
The SUV then struck the bicyclist, causing the victim with serious injuries.
 
Responding paramedics transported the bicyclist to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
