FALLBROOK, CA (February 14, 2022) — One person died in a solo-car accident on the 15 Freeway at Mission Road on Saturday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the solo-car accident happened on the southbound side of the freeway around 5:51 p.m. For possible speed-related reasons, a driver veered off the right side of the freeway and drove down an embankment.
 
As a result, the vehicle crashed and the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered fatal injuries.
