One Person Dead in Tulare County Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 190

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (April 12, 2021) — One person died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 190 at Road 208 Friday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 7:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a semi-truck carrying two empty trailers crashed into a Chevy Suburban. As a result of the accident, one person sustained severe injuries and died shortly after.
 
Due to cleanup and onsite investigators, commuters faced closure on part of the highway.
 
At this time, the CHP has no information on the ultimate cause of the crash. However, if anyone has more insight into this collision, please contact the department.
