One Person Dies in La Quinta Multi-Car Crash on Dune Palms Road

 
LA QUINTA, CA (January 3, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car accident on Dune Palms Road at Highway 111 on Wednesday night.
 
According to a release from the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, multiple vehicles collided at the intersection and left at least one person with injuries.
 
Shortly after, Riverside County Fire officials responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene. Meanwhile, emergency personnel transported one other person to a hospital with minor wounds.
