STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (December 29, 2021) — One person died in a crash with a big rig on Gates Road at Highway 132 Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal two-vehicle accident occurred around 6:11 p.m. For unknown reasons, a big rig and a Honda Civic collided in an unknown fashion. As a result, firefighters had to extricate one person trapped in the wreckage. Not long after, officials requested a coroner to the scene.
