One Person Dies in Car Crash with Tree on Leon Lane

 
REDDING, CA (September 27, 2021) — One person died in a car accident with a tree on Leon Lane near Harley Leighton Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash occurred around 10:32 a.m. on Thursday. For unknown reasons, a driver allowed the vehicle to leave the road and crash into a tree.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the victim sustained severe injuries and died shortly after.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed an explanation for the accident or the victim’s identity. However, anyone with pertinent information about this accident should call the CHP.
