Two-Vehicle Accident on Sellers Road in Contra Costa County Ends in Fatality

 
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (June 17, 2021) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle accident on Sellers Avenue at Delta Road.
 
The accident happened around 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16 in unincorporated Brentwood area near Knightsen. The East Contra Costa Fire Protection District responded to the scene and located a blue Ford F-150 pickup truck and a white Acura TLX. Both vehicles had major front-end damage.
 
Emergency crews reported at least three patients needing treatment. They requested a medical helicopter to transport the injured victims to hospitals.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, officials confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately available.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
