One Killed in Accident at Old Stage Road and Associated Lane [Gonzales, CA]

Two Vehicles Collide on Old Stage Road in Gonzales, Fatality Reported

 
GONZALES, CA (August 11, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Old Stage Road and Associated Lane on Monday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:44 p.m. on August 8 in the Gonzales area of Monterey County. According to the Gonzales Police Department, a Chevrolet Silverado collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
The Chevrolet sustained major front-end damage and a broken front axle.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
