PLACERVILLE, CA (May 30, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Missouri Flat Road and Life Way in Placerville.
 
The accident happened around 8:18 a.m. on Thursday, May 27. According to the California Highway Patrol, a red sedan and a gray truck with a trailer collided for unknown reasons.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, crews closed the intersection while they cleared the wreckage.
