LAKE ELSINORE, CA (August 16, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Lake Street in Lake Elsinore on Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 10:33 p.m. on August 13. According to the Riverside County Fire Department, two vehicles collided in the 29000 block of Lake Street.
 
When officers arrived, they found one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
Two other people were injured, one with major injuries and the other had minor injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and liability remain under investigation.
