Two-Vehicle Accident on Dillon Road in Indio Leaves 1 Dead

 
INDIO, CA (August 22, 2021) – One person died in a two-vehicle accident on Dillon Road in Indio Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:52 p.m. on August 21, at the intersection with Fargo Canyon Road. CHP officials indicated that the crash involved two unknown vehicles.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, one person died at the scene. Two others suffered major injuries.
 
Air ambulances were summoned to rush the badly injured patients to hospitals.
 
At this time, the identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
