DELANO, CA (July 15, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Corcoran Road and County Line Road in Delano area of Kern County on Tuesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:26 p.m. on July 12. According to the California Highway Patrol, a white big rig and a dark-colored Honda sedan collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
