Deadly Two-Vehicle Accident on 805 Freeway in San Ysidro

 
SAN YSIDRO, CA (June 23, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle accident on 805 Freeway in San Ysidro early Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 3:14 a.m. on June 23. CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but they said the impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over into bushes.
 
Arriving units confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
