Fatal Train Accident on Effie Drive in Goshen Area of Tulare County

 
GOSHEN, CA (October 31, 2021) – One person was killed in a train accident on Effie Drive at Roy Drive in Goshen area of Tulare Country late Thursday evening.
 
The accident happened just before 10:30 p.m. on October 28. According to the California Highway Patrol, the person was on the tracks when the train struck them.
 
Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid, but the victim died at the scene.
 
Authorities have not yet identified the deceased. They also did not know if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
 
At this time, this fatality is still under investigation.
