Traffic Accident on Beech Avenue in Fontana Ends in Fatality

 
FONTANA, CA (July 20, 2022) – At least one person was killed in an accident on Beech Avenue in northern Fontana on Sunday evening, July 17.
 
The fatal accident happened in the northbound lanes of Beech Avenue, just north of Baseline Avenue. According to the Fontana Police Department, officers received a report of a collision involving an unknown number of vehicles.
 
When officers arrived, they found at least one person suffering from major injuries.
 
Life-saving measures were performed, but at least one person was declared dead at the scene.
 
The northbound lanes of Beech in the area were closed for several hours while the crash was being investigated, the Fontana Police Department said.
