Three-Vehicle Accident on Highway 41 in Coarsegold Kills At Least One

 
COARSEGOLD, CA (August 30, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 41 in Coarsegold Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:35 p.m. on August 28, at the intersection with Road 417. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided on the highway for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as result of the accident.
 
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.
 
CHP officials are still trying to determine the cause of the crash and factors involved.
