Three-Vehicle Accident on Highway 16 in Amador County Leaves 1 Dead

 
AMADOR COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2021) – One person was killed in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 16 near Plymouth in Alameda County Saturday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:26 p.m. on November 6 at the intersection with Latrobe Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles collided in the area for unknown reasons.
 
Responding paramedics confirmed one fatality as a result of the crash.
 
The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. CHP officials did not mention if any other party ended up hurt due to the impact.
 
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
