Morning Three-Vehicle Accident on Highway 129 in Watsonville Leaves 1 Dead, Sends 2 Others to Hospital

 
WATSONVILLE, CA (November 30, 2021) – One person died in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 129 in Watsonville on Monday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on November 29, at Harvest Drive. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Malibu, a Ford F-160 and a Toyota Tacoma collided on the highway for unknown reasons.
 
When officers arrived, they confirmed one fatality as a result of the accident. They withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
Paramedics took two other people to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
The highway was closed between Walker Street and Harvest Drive while officers worked on the scene. As a result, motorists were asked to use alternative routes.
 
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
